Last week, the British investment holding company 3i Group (London: III) presented its annual update during the Capital Markets Seminar. This event is essentially an overview of the group's private equity portfolio, because you could almost forget that 3i owns numerous other investments besides Action. Yet the management knows very well that most shareholders are primarily invested in the stock for Action, and therefore the meeting invariably begins with a brief update on the discounter.
